The professionals at Mediation and Collaborative Action Group have joined together to develop a unique collaborative team process to assist disputing individuals and businesses. They have combined their expertise in the fields of taxation, financial analysis, divorce, mediation and psycho-dynamics to offer a revolutionary service which not only lessens the financial and emotional burdens of disputes but gives individuals and businesses the ability to negotiate in a neutral and controlled environment without the threat of litigation. Each member practices in their own specialty and is responsible for making the team function more smoothly – moving towards the goal of a peaceful resolution. We know that conflict is a part of everyday life and if mishandled they can become costly. Our process helps our clients build agreements that work and endure.

Rita Medaglio-Barrera, CDFA™ is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, a Mediator, and a Collaborative Financial Neutral, President of BMR Global Wealth Management Group, with 15 years experience in financial planning, investments, and working with the divorcing client. Rita is a member of Association for Conflict Resolution, NYS Council on Divorce Mediation, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, NY Association of Collaborative Professionals. She is also a member of the Financial Planning Assoc., the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts.

Gloria Ciolli, MSW, CSW, ACSW, LMSW is a licensed social worker and conflict specialist in practice for over 20 years in the Long Island area. Her work with individuals, couples, families and small business owners has focused on relationship issues. She is actively involved in mediation and is a neutral family specialist within the collaborative team approach. As a conflict and family specialist, Gloria assists clients with effectively managing their emotions throughout the mediation/collaborative process; resulting in better communication skills. Gloria’s skills enhance the opportunity for a solution settlement that meets the interests of both parties. Gloria is President and founder of "9th Phase Consulting", a consulting and lecturing company which merged with Mediation and Collaborative Group in January, 2009. Gloria is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Association of Conflict Resolution, NY Chapter, NY State Council of Divorce Mediation, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, NY Association of Collaborative Professionals. She is the recipient of "The International Who’s Who of Professional Business Women" award for significant career achievement and contributions to the society.

Bruce A. Mina, MS, CPA/ABV, CFF, CVA, BVAL As a financial specialist in the mediation/collaborative process, Bruce brings a wealth of knowledge to any situation. As an expert in tax law, business valuations, and a forensic examiner involved in numerous litigation cases, Bruce the combines these tools to provide a base for application in the collaborative/mediation practice. Bruce is a member of AICPA/NYSSCPA, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, NY Assoc. of Collaborative Professionals.
